OK, so maybe the headline is a bit misleading because this is actually pretty cool. Pilot Pens has unveiled a new app that allows you to turn your handwriting into a personal font for your computer - which brings us back to the headline. Even I can't read my own handwriting.

Just discovered a web service call Rollip (http://rollip.com) lets you turn any digital photo into a Polaroid… and actually order physical prints. Fun and cool (in a geeky way) but it could make for an interesting calling card / business card as well.

Great data visualizations from artist Tony Ng that look at some of our world's key demographic statistics but put them into human-scale context by visualizing the numbers based on how they would spill out in a village of 100 people.

My name is Greg Verdino. I'm a marketer, writer and speaker currently working as VP/Strategy & Solutions at Powered. My book, microMARKETING hits shelves on August 13, 2010. When I procrastinate by surfing the web or manage to step away from the computer and get outside for a few minutes, some of what I find ends up here.
