I'm an unapologetic KISS fan - have been since the 70s (although even I'll admit I took a few years off during the no-make-up years) and have seen the band perform something like a dozen times since 1979.
Tonight makes a dozen and one -- taking the girls to see The Hottest Band in the World at Nassau Coliseum tonight. After a solid week of hard work (while rockin' to the new KISS album Sonic Boom, I must admit) I'm looking forward to a couple of hours of pure, escapist entertainment. And pyrotechnics, of course.
That is, unless the 23-year-old or 6-year-old drag me out 2 minutes into the opening song. If that happens, then this kick ass Jimmy Kimmel Live performance of Detroit Rock City will have to do...
